I want to display 3 rooms at the same time in my scheduler. How do I do this? Close the scheduler, click Setup/System Setup and change your registration company. Click the second tab entitled "Calendar Setup" and set the number of rooms to 3. |

Can a patient be booked for multiple time slots without having to rekey the data? Yes. Enter the original appointment and use the Paste or Repeat button to automatically insert the appointment to other times. You can also use the PASTE button to book the patient on other days as well. |

How do I Closeout a Month?
No effort is required to closeout a month other than to print the report. You can print the Monthly closeout report by selecting "Reports/Financials by Post
Date/Monthly Totals". |

What files should I backup? At the bare minimum you should backup your data files that have a TPS extension. The best backup would be to copy the entire folder to a USB or CD and remove it off site. |

| If I already closed a month can I add or change transactions? Yes. You can close a month as frequently as needed. |

What should I do for data corruption? Superior is equipped with an auto detection module that will notify you if data is corrupt and needs correction. The module will walk you through the process to repair the data file. Superior Medical software is also equipped with a complete file maintenance system to take care of all of your data files. |

Security |

How much protection does Superior offer? Security can be applied to every screen and report by user. You can completely restrict a function or permit only limited access. You can completely hide screens and menu options. |

I do not want my employees to generate sensitive finanacial reports. Can you prevent this? From the Main Menu press shift/F8 and restrict each staff member from viewing the financial reports. |

| Will Superior provide a duplicate of my data in case of hardware failure? Yes. Activate the auto backup feature and key in a data path and Superior will copy all files to a second location on a regular basis. The process is fully automatic, requires no employee action and is simple. Restoring the data is just as easy. |

If a user is logged in will I have to exit to program to enter with another password? No. Select Tables/Security/Change Login. Key in the new password and all of the security arrangements for the new password will take effect. |

| Will Superior prevent users from changing the computer date and time? No. This is a Windows operating system issue and is controlled within Windows security. |

How many computers can be in Superior at once? Unlimited. They can be connected within the office or remotely. |

Do Updates need to be loaded onto every computer? No. Only load Superior onto the server. Remote stations will launch the program from the server thus making maintenance a breeze. |

| Are than any size limitations to any of the data files? None whatsoever. You can have unlimited groups, patients, doctors, fee schedules, employees using it, etc. |

What is a Group? A group is a corporate entity that employees medical staff to perform medical services or it provides medical equipment. Allowing multiple groups is excellent for billing services,offices with multiple treatment sites or single offices that submit claims through various companies. |

Who can I transmit to? |

Every Blue Cross, Medicare, Medicaid and commercial carrier that complies with Medicare B, Hipaa rules. To transmit, download their companion guide and insert their ISA values into Superior. Key in your insurance payor numbers and begin transmitting. |

Can I transmit to Edmeon? We have tested and have been approved to submit claims to Edmeon. However, we do not maintain a corporate contract with them so you will need to call them and sign on directly. |

| Can I transmit multiple groups? Yes. Superior will allow unlimited groups. Each patient is assigned to a group so when you prepare your billing you only need to indicate which group and to whom the claims will be sent to. |

Where do I find an insurance companies companion guide? Most companies receive their data from a large vendor such as Availity or THIN. However, if they want to receive data directly then download their guide from THEIR website. The insurance carriers' support staffl can assist you. |

Reports |

How do I generate an aging report? Select Functions/Confirm Balances. Click "Begin." This will age all of your patient's accounts. To print the Report select Reports/Collections. |

Do you provide multiple report formats? Most but not all reports can be viewed, printed or exported into a PDF, Word or Excel format. |

| Our doctors are paid a bonus based on monies collected for services they rendered. Can you provide this information? Yes. All of our reports can by run by doctor, by a date range and based on the visit date of the patient. |
